Founded in 1971 by community-minded citizens interested in live theater productions using local actors, the Hartsville Community Players  began a tradition of promoting on-stage performing arts in Hartsville.

Now, 46 years later, our mission continues to educate, inspire and brighten the lives those in Hartsville and surrounding communities. We offer a broad-based variety of theatrical productions including musicals, dramas, comedies, youth and dinner theater. We invite you to join us either on stage, behind the scenes, or come enjoy an evening of great performances by local talent!
